It’s okay to be greedy. There’s never enough talent to satisfy a coach or fan when it comes to college football recruiting.

Tennessee will try to land its third commitment in three days following a landslide of a Sunday that included a commitment from five-star EDGE rusher Chandavian Bradley from Platte County High School in Missouri and three-star linebacker Jalen Smith from Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga.

The next announcement on tap will come from offensive tackle Lucas Simmons from Clearwater (Fla.) Academy. Simmons is rated as the 109th best overall prospect in the nation. The 6-foot-7, 300-pound prospect will announce his decision at 1 p.m. today.

Simmons is expected to chose Florida State. However, sources close to his recruitment have told Off The Hook Sports that the Vols have made a strong push over the past two weeks. Simmons took his official visit to Tennessee on May 27. Florida and Southern California are also in the hunt. However, the Seminoles appear to be the team to beat.

Tennessee is currently ranked No. 5 in the country in recruiting and tops in the SEC. Tennessee is only one of six schools that has multiple five-star prospects (Bradley and quarterback Nico Iamaleava from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly Tech) committed for the 2013 class along with Ohio State, Clemson, Texas, Alabama and Southern California.
