Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz seems to have an axe to grind with Tennessee. He decided to share that with the world on Wednesday.
Drinkwitz didn’t hesitate to bring up Tennessee’s NCAA woes during a recent appearance on The Jim Rome Show on Wednesday.
“Let’s hold off on what my record is because I expect them to vacate some wins,” Drinkwitz said when he was introduced on the nationally syndicated show.
Dinkwitz should expect a call from the SEC office even if he’s correct about vacated wins, which is highly unlikely. The SEC won’t take kindly to a school publicly criticizing another school about NCAA issues.
Tennessee was charged with 18 Level-I violations on Friday that occurred under former UT head coach Jeremy Pruitt. While the NCAA’s decision on possible punishment is pending, Tennessee has been cooperative and separated itself from Pruitt.
