Tennessee is back in the Top 25. Well, at least one of them.
After the Vols’ 59-10 season-opening victory against Ball State, Tennessee ranks No. 24 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Tuesday. The Volunteers also received votes in the USA TODAY Coaches’ Poll for the second consecutive rankings release.
Tennessee makes an appearance in the AP Top 25 for the first time since Oct. 4, 2020. The Vols visit No. 17 Pittsburgh for the second meeting of the Johnny Majors Classic on Saturday. Kickoff is at 3:30 pm.
