Tennessee continues to climb in the AP/Coaches rankings

Tennessee’s win against Pittsburgh on Saturday shot the Vols up both college football polls, which were released on Sunday.

The Vols came in at No. 15 in the AP Top 25 and earned their first ranking of the season in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, at No. 16. The Vols beat Pitt 34-27 in overtime. Pitt was ranked as the No. 17 team in the country. The Panthers fell to No. 23 and No. 25 in the AP and Coaches Poll, respectively.
