SEC football games are won in the trenches. Kam Pringle can be a presence there – big time. The 2024 four-star offensive tackle released his top 10 Tuesday morning. Tennessee made the early cut.

The 6-foot-8 and 340-pound lineman has visited every school on his list at least once, except for LSU. He appears to be leaning toward South Carolina. Pringle’s high school, Woodland, in Dorchester, South Carolina is just about an hour away from Columbia.

Pringle also has visited South Carolina the most of any school in his top 10, and he will reportedly be in Columbia on Saturday for the Gamecocks’ matchup with Georgia.

Pringle was in Knoxville at the end of June. Since being extended a scholarship offer in April, head coach Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee have been in constant contact with the No. 2-ranked offensive tackle in the country.

““I have visited Tennessee twice. I really like the staff,” Pringle told ON3. “They have been down to check on me and the coaches hit me three to four times each week. It is a cool place and I like coach Ellerbe [sic], coach (Josh) Heupel and some other coaches. It is another school I am considering big-time.”

Can Tennessee get Pringle out of South Carolina to Rocky Top? It seems like Tennessee has an in-conference recruiting battle brewing with South Carolina. For a team who has had offensive line struggles in recent years, Pringle would be a well needed addition.
