Was the environment on Saturday night enough to sway three-star prospect Vysen Lang?
The offensive lineman took to Twitter on Sunday morning with some strong words to describe his visit. He is one of the top remaining prospects in the class of 2023.
Lang, at 6-foot-4.5 and 335 pounds, is someone Tennessee could put to use in the trenches. Josh Heupel and his staff have put an emphasis on recruiting lineman on both sides of the ball.
After the game, Lang explained how his visit to Tennessee wasn’t just any normal trip, per GoVols247.
“Usually, when I go into games, I’m just there for, like, a good game,” Vysen said “I don’t like rooting for sides. But when I was there, I wanted Tennessee to win. I felt like I was one of the players. They beat Florida. I love the direction they’re going into. I feel like they’ll be one of the best SEC teams.”
Have Coach Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee done enough to land Lang? Lang says we will find out on his birthday, Nov. 8, or on Early Signing day on Dec. 15.
Lang attends Pike Road High School in Pike Road, AL.
