Tennessee probably caught a break when the SEC schedule was announced on Monday. The Vols will not have to play a night game when they travel to play LSU on Oct. 8.
The game, per an announcement by Tennessee’s Sports Information Department, will play LSU at noon EST on Oct. 8. LSU, which is 3-1, will play Auburn this week. The Vols have a bye week before they take on the Tigers.
Playing a night game in Tiger Stadium is legendarily difficult. The Vols won’t have to worry about that since the game will fill the early time slot on ESPN.
