As the 2023 recruiting cycle begins winding down, we’re beginning to see the class of 2024 prospects announce their commitment dates.
Four-star Tennessee target Mazeo Bennett announced his top eight, along with a commitment date on Saturday morning.
Tennessee is in Bennett’s top eight, along with Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina, among others. He is expected to announce his commitment on his birthday, Oct. 16.
Bennett was in Knoxville to watch Tennessee’s historic win against Florida.
The 6-foot and 165-pound wide receiver was impressed with Neyland Stadium in Tennessee’s win
“Tennessee’s environment was electric!” Bennett told Rivals247 following his visit. “Man I loved it, could see myself fit perfectly in their offense!”
Bennett was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in May. He was also in Knoxville over the summer, visiting campus in July.
Bennett has also visited South Carolina and Auburn. He is expected to visit Georgia before his commitment date.
Bennett attends Greenville High School in Greenville, SC. As a sophomore, he had 25 catches for 661 yards. He also returned 13 kicks for 335 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, the four-star prospect had 10 tackles and two interceptions.
