Tennessee climbs up in the Coaches’ Poll and receives first-place votes

Tennessee’s 52-49 win over Alabama did not go unnoticed by the Coaches’ Poll, which was released on Sunday. The Vols moved up to No. 4 in the poll. Tennessee was previously No. 8.

The Vols, who are 6-0, received two first-place votes. Tennessee ranks behind No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan. All are undefeated.

After the loss to the Vols, Alabama fell to No. 6. The Crimson Tide was previously No. 1. The AP Poll is set to be released later on Sunday. Tennessee will play UT-Martin on Saturday.
