Commitments for the class of 2024 are rolling in, and it seems Josh Heupel and his staff have been successful thus far on the recruiting trail.

Tennessee has placed a big emphasis on in-state recruiting for the class of 2024 as the Volunteers only have five in-state commitments for the class of 2023.

Their in-state success will be put to the test on Friday. Four-star prospect Kaleb Beasley announced he will be committing on Friday. Beasley attends Lipscomb Academy in Nashville. His commitment will follow their game against Christ Presbyterian Academy.

Beasley has been a priority for Tennessee since the last coaching staff. He was extended a scholarship offer in December of 2020, and Heupel reaffirmed this offer in April of 2021.

Beasley was in Knoxville for Tennessee’s first win against Alabama in 16 years. It was his fourth visit to Tennessee since June, when he first camped with Tennessee.

Beasley was also on campus for Tennessee’s win against Florida.

Beasly announced his top 10 schools in July which included Tennessee among Penn State, LSU, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Auburn.

The 6-foot and 179-pound cornerback received several “crystal ball” predictions following his visit this weekend, including Steve Wiltfrong. All have projected Beasley to commit to Tennessee.

Beasley is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in Tennessee, and the No. 19 cornerback in the class of 2024.
