Tennessee is still awaiting the return of three former starters who could miss the UT-Martin game on Saturday. UT head coach Josh Heupel addressed the trio during his final press conference of the week on Thursday.

Heupel first discussed receiver Cedric Tillman, who has been out of the starting lineup since suffering an ankle injury against Akron.

“We’ll find out on the injured guys on the back end of the week,” Heupel said when asked about Tillman and defensive back Kamal Hadden. “Feel like they’re both progressing. Cedric’s had a good week, but we’ll see where we’re at tomorrow afternoon and make a decision and determination on that.”

Heupel was also asked about defensive back Jaylen McCollough, who did not play against Alabama after being charged with aggravated assault on Oct. 9.

Jaylen’s process is still going on,” Heupel said. “We’ll see where we’re at at the end of the week.”

Heupel said earlier in the week that McCollough was not suspended. However, his legal case is ongoing.
