Despite there being no upsets ahead of them, Tennessee’s football team moved up in the polls following its 65-24 win over UT-Martin on Saturday. The Vols held their previous No. 3 spot in the Associated Press Poll but climbed a spot in the Coaches’ Poll, surpassing Michigan which beat Penn State 41-17 on Saturday.
The Vols were previously No. 4 in the Coaches Poll, but have now moved to No. 3. Tennessee. The Vols earned 13 first-place votes in the AP Poll and two first-place votes in the Coaches Poll. Tennessee hosts No. 19 Kentucky on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.
