Tennessee’s school colors have morphed from orange and white to grey. There was even an occasion in which they were black. Well, that style is coming back.
The Vols revealed on Twitter that they will wear black uniforms with orange highlights for the Kentucky game on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Tennessee wore some hastily made black jerseys in 2009 when the Vols beat South Carolina on Halloween. Led by former coach Lane Kiffin, the Vols beat the Gamecocks 31-13.
