Tennessee is in an excellent position to land another class of 2023 prospect.
Tyler Scott – ranked as a three-star prospect – announced his top seven schools via social media.
Tennessee is included in Scott’s top seven among Auburn, Alabama, Louisville, Michigan, Southern California, and Texas.
Scott is a 6-foot-2, 185 pound defensive back for Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, GA. He finished 2021 with 25 tackles and 5 pass breakups, helping the Falcons make the Georgia state playoffs.
The No. 57 safety in the class of 2023 reopened his recruitment at the beginning of October following his decommitment from Arkansas State.
Scott was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee at the end of September. He was on campus for the Volunteers’ exciting upset over Alabama. Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports gave Scott a “crystal ball” following his visit, projecting the three-star prospect would choose Tennessee.
Since his visit to Tennessee, Scott has visited Auburn and is expected to visit Texas. He also is planning an official visit to Alabama.
