Several prospects will be in The Swamp to watch Tennessee Football take on Florida. Some of them are top Florida targets, but a dominant win may sway some minds.
Here’s a look at some prospects expected to be watching the game closely on Saturday.
Athlete Kamron Mikell
Four-star athlete Kamron Mikell is expected to be in Gainesville on Saturday, and it is safe to assume he will be watching Florida as closely as he is watching Tennessee Football. Both schools are still vying for the 2024 prospects talents.
The two crystal balls in the 247Sports database project Mikell to Georgia. He ranks as the No. 138 prospect in the country and the No. 14 athlete in his class. He is out of Statesboro (Ga.) High School.
Mikell will visit Tennessee, Kentucky and Texas A&M this fall.
Safety Zavier Mincey
Mincey, a four-star safety from Mainland (Fl) High School in Daytona Beach, is expected to be in Gainesville on Saturday. He ranks as the No. 89 prospect in the 2024 class and is a prospect the Gators want to lock up in this class.
He holds an offer from Tennessee, but it is unclear how much headway the Vols could make in this cycle.
Offensive tackle Jordan Seaton
Seaton still remains one of the Vols’ top targets, but it seems he is trending away from Knoxville. He ranks as the No. 39 prospect nationally, and is expected to be in Florida this weekend.
Out of IMG Academy in Florida, Seaton received a visit from the Florida staff ahead of Saturday’s game. His recruitment is largely up in the air, but Billy Napier is working hard on the 6-foot-5, 287-pound prospect.
2025 running back Waltez Clark
Four-star running back Waltez Clark is expected to attend Saturday’s contest. Out of Plant (Fl.) High School in Tampa, Clark is one of the Gators’ top targets.
He also holds an offer from Tennessee Football, which he received in June. He ranks as the No. 128 prospect in the 2025 class and the No. 11 running back in his class. Out of Florida, he is the No. 23 propsect.
Last season he ran for 863 yards and 18 touchdowns on 87 rushing attempts. The game on Saturday will be the third time has has visited Florida this year.
Clark, at 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds, is fairly reserved and does not post to social media often.
