Tennessee Football: Vols Add 2024 CB

Tennessee football picked up another cornerback in the 2024 class on Friday. Colin Brazzell announced his commitment to Tennessee via social media.

Brazzell, the brother of Tulane transfer Chris Brazzell II, ranks as a three-star prospect by On3, but is unranked by 247Sports.

Brazzell was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee on Jan. 3. Tulane, Purdue and Colorado were also in the mix for the younger Brazzell.

On3 ranks the cornerback as a three-star prospect in the 2024 class, and the No. 1506 prospect overall. He is also the No. 159 cornerback in the class by On3. With several defensive backs leaving the Vols for next season, Brazzell is a good add for depth to the secondary. He is out of Midland Legacy High School in Texas.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound cornerback joins his brother at Tennessee. The older brother tallied 711 yards and five touchdowns as a freshman for Tulane. At 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, he gives highly-touted quarterback Nico Iamaleava a large target to hit.

In the transfer portal, Brazzell ranks as the No. 54 and the No. 11 wide receiver. Out of high schools, 247Sports Composite rankings had Brazzell as the No. 1288 prospect overall and the No. 170 receiver. He graduated from Midland Legacy High School in Midland, Texas.
