Tennessee Football: Recruits react to junior day on social media

Tennessee Football held a junior day over the weekend before the recruiting dead period. By all accounts, it went very well.

Several prospects took to social media to share photos from the weekend. Here’s a look at some of the posts.

2025 LB Kris Thompson

Out of Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, linebacker Kris Thompson left his visit to Tennessee with a scholarship offer.

Thompson was teammates with Kaleb Beasley in high school, a class of 2024 cornerback. Thompson ranks as a three-star prospect and the No. 746 prospect overall.

2025 EDGE Julius Holly

Edge rusher Julius Holly left Tennessee’s junior day with a scholarship offer. Out of Alpharetta High School in Georgia, Holly ranks as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.

2025 Tennessee commitment Dylan Lewis

Dylan Lewis ranks as a three-star cornerback in the 2025 cycle and remains firmly committed to Tennessee Football. He ranks as a three-star prospect and the No. 439 prospect overall in the class.

2026 WR Jaylen Pile

After receiving a scholarship offer on Jan. 24, Pile visited Knoxville for the junior day. Pile’s father played at Virginia Tech and for the Cowboys.

Out of Dallas, Texas, Pile’s recruitment has recently begun gaining momentum.

2025 EDGE Mykah Newton

Mykah Newton, yet to be ranked, was in Knoxville for the Vols’ junior day. Newton stands at 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds.

2026 OL Brody Smith

Yet to be ranked, Bearden High School offensive lineman Brody Smith seemed to enjoy his time at the junior day. Smith stands at 6-foot-5.5 and 241 pounds. He currently holds at least 12 scholarship offers.
