Alabama-raised EDGE Jordan Ross’ commitment to Tennessee was a statement pick-up, as the Vols topped some of the best recruiting programs in the country for Ross.

On3 ranks Ross as the No. 20 prospect overall and the No. 4 edge in the class. On3 also ranks Ross as the No. 4 prospect from Alabama
ESPN ranks Ross as the No. 24 prospect overall and the No. 5 edge in the class. He is also ranked No. 4 prospect from Alabama by ESPN.
Rivals ranks Ross as the No. 4 edge in the class and the No. 6 prospect from Alabama. He is also ranked as the No. 45 prospect overall.
High school notes
Ross enjoyed a successful high school career for Vestavia Hills in Birmingham, AL. He was named the Alabama 7A Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. Ross racked up 72 tackles and 12.5 sacks. Ross was also named the Birmingham Quarterback Club Lineman of the Year.
Ross also played basketball, averaging 9.2 ppg.
