The Purdue Boilermakers beat Tennessee Basketball in March Madness 72-66 Sunday, costing the Vols a shot at their first ever Final Four. UT ends the season with only its second Elite Eight run in history and as SEC regular season champions, arguably the greatest year in the history of the program.

Tennessee came close – but Knetch went cold and it seems that Barnes didn’t realize it. Oh well, next year! Tennessee should be congratulated on a good year and a good run at the Championship.
