One to Watch: Chauncey Gooden
Tennessee has some ground to make up to land the top offensive lineman in the state.
Offensive lineman Chancey Gooden recently lit up the Nashville Under Armour camp last weekend against some of the best competition in the region.
Gooden was named “Alpha Dog” of the camp, which will only make the competition for the 6-foot-4, 360-pound more intense. Gooden, per 247Sports, never lost a single one-on-one battle during the event. So where does that leave his recruitment?
Tennessee is certainly in the mix, but there is another team in orange that will have a say before the four-star offensive lineman announces his decision, which is expected to happen this summer. Clemson is thought to be the leader in Gooden’s recruitment as it really starts to heat up.
