Caleb Calhoun and Dave Hooker discuss Tennessee Football facilities, Nico Iamaleava and the new video game, John Campbell Jr.’s potential and Vols nepo babies. Off the Hook Sports’ Monday, May 13 podcast also talks about Urban Meyer’s hypocritical NIL comments and the SEC’s format for the 2024 season.
Will Nico Iamaleava be on EA Sports CFB 26?
The new EA Sports College Football 25 video game came out and featured multiple players on the cover, none of whom were Tennessee Football quarterback Nico Iamaleava. Is this season a disappointment if he doesn’t make his way onto the cover of next year’s game?
Facilities for Tennessee Football ranked No. 19
A 247Sports ranking of the best facilities in the nation had Tennessee Football down at No. 19. Is that a concern for the Vols going forward, or are facilities all so similar now that they don’t create the same advantage that they used to? Should more money be spent on NIL from the donors?
Urban Meyer criticizes NIL collectives
One of college football’s most immoral people in history decided to take a stance against the name, image and likeness collective arms race. Former Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer, a three-time national champion, said that while he supports NIL, he opposes the arms race it’s become for recruits.
Vols and nepo babies
Bronny James is drawing the eyes of NBA scouts solely due to the fact that the team that drafts him could sign LeBron James. Meanwhile, two of Deion Sanders’ three sons play for him with the Colorado Buffaloes. When has nepotism ever affected Tennessee Football or any other Vols sport for that matter?
SEC tiebreaker still not set for 2024 format
This upcoming season, the SEC will have 16 teams and no divisions. The two teams with the best record amidst an eight-game league schedule will play for the conference championships. However, no tiebreaker has yet been set in case multiple teams have the same record. What should it be?
Is John Campbell Jr. the next Tennessee Football OL star?
Just like Darnell Wright two years ago, Tennessee Football offensive lineman John Campbell Jr. is moving from left tackle to right tackle under Glen Elarbee in what will be his final year of playing college ball. Could Campbell match Wright’s production? Will he be the next superstar up front?

5-13-24 I’m going to enjoy it when you you three have to eat your words about Kim Caldwell and her team. She got the best guard left in the portal today.
Caleb please get a haircut or comb your hair. You are actually nice looking young man.
We’re on board!
