The No. 1 overall player in the 2026 class is set to choose Tennessee as his future collegiate home, per many recruiting analysts. Five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon will pick the Vols when he announces his commitment on August 3rd. As of now, Brandon has narrowed down his schools to Alabama, LSU, NC State and Tennessee.
If Brandon chooses the Vols, it would continue an incredible run of top quarterbacks, led by five-star prospect/redshirt freshman Nico Iamaleava, who is set to be the Vols’s starter this season, four-star prospect/freshman Jake Merklinger and five-star commitment George MacIntyre.
