Despite what you may think about Duke’s Mayo, the game that carries its name has plenty of flavor for Tennessee defensive lineman Daevin Hobbs. After all, he’s going home.
While no one asked Hobbs’ thoughts on mayonnaise during his press conference, he was asked about returning to the Charlotte, N.C., area, which includes Hobbs’ hometown of Concord, N.C.
“I’m very excited for this game,” Hobbs said. “All the fam gets to come. My friends from back home and high school coaches, so it’s going to be be fun to be back home and just be back in the stadium that I always went to with my dad watching the Panthers’ game growing up.”
