It’s only been a couple of months since four-star recruit Lagonza “Shaedy” Hayward announced his commitment to play football at Tennessee. The Vols were the first school to offer a scholarship to the 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety and pursued him aggressively.
But Tennessee wasn’t and apparently still isn’t the only school after Hayward. Compositely ranked 93rd overall in the 2025 class, Hayward fielded many offers before deciding on Tennessee, announcing his commitment in a social media event. But, could Hayward flip on the Vols?
Over the weekend, Hayward paid a visit to Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga to see the Georgia Bulldogs take on the Auburn Tigers. Do the Vols have cause for concern?
