The wait is over. Five-star edge rusher and the No. 36 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle Chandavian Bradley has committed to Tennessee.

This is Tennessee’s biggest recruiting win since snagging five-star QB Nico Iamaleava in March. With Bradley’s commitment, the Vols are now one of only six schools in the country with multiple verbal commitments from 5-star talent.

And Bradley certainly has five-star talent. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound edge rusher hails from Platte County High School in Missouri, is considered the No. 1 player from the Show-Me State and the No. 5 edge defender in the nation per 247 Sports.

Dave Hooker and Josh Ward discuss Tennessee’s big recruiting haul on Sunday.

Bradley picked the Vols over South Carolina and Texas A&M, a top three he posted in late June. He represents Tennessee’s second overall highest rated addition and the Vols’ 17th addition of a class that is now comfortably within the top five in national rankings. Bradley joins fellow top 75 prospect Caleb Herring in a class that likely features the best edge duo in the 2023 cycle.

Tennessee now holds commitments from the No. 6, 10 and 43 edge rushers in the cycle, including Bradley, Herring and three-star prospect Nathan Robinson, respectively.

The Vols have been on a tear recently on the recruiting trail, snagging Sham Umarov out of Georgia and Cam Seldon out of Virginia. Three-star linebacker target Jalen Smith is set to commit at 6 p.m. later Sunday evening.
