ESPN’s College Gameday crew won’t be the only notable visitors in Knoxville this week. Tennessee is set to host a bevy of top prospects from around the country.

With Florida coming to town on Saturday, Tennessee is going all out on recruiting. Let’s take an early look at who will be in town this weekend.

QB Nico Iamaleava

The crown jewel of Tennessee’s 2023 class and the No. 2-rated quarterback will be in Knoxville on Saturday.

At 6-foot-5 and 195-pounds, Iamaleava ranks behind only fellow five-star Arch Manning as the consensus top prospect in the 2023 class. Imaleava has become a household name for those in Knoxville, with hopes that he will take over the offense following the departure of current starting quarterback Hendon Hooker. Iamaleava, who is from Warren High School in Downey, Calif., is already readying himself for college. The offense he runs is similar to Tennessee’s, under head coach Josh Heupel offense.

LB Caleb Herring

Herring, who committed to Tennessee in April, will be in Knoxville on Saturday. The 6-5, 206-pound linebacker is a top  in-state prospect, from Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro.

CB Christian Conyers

Conyers, who committed to the Vols in July, will be in Knoxville on Saturday. The 6-1, 170-pound prospect committed to Tennessee over Kentucky.

The four-star prospect plays at South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Ky..

DT Trevor Duncan

Duncan has confirmed that will be at the Florida game on Saturday night. The four-star prospect from Catholic High School in Knoxville committed to the Volunteers in April.

The 6-5, 277-pound commit will likely play defensive end for Tennessee.

CB Boo Carter

Carter, a four-star cornerback in the 2024 class, is also expected to be on campus this weekend. The 5-10 and 184-pound athlete is another in-state prospect the Volunteers want to land, hailing from Chattanooga Christian School.

CB Kaleb Beasley

Beasley, a cornerback from Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tenn., will be on Rocky Top during Saturday night’s game.

The 6-foot, 179-pound four-star cornerback released his top 10 in June, which included Tennessee, LSU, Florida, Georgia, among others.
