Early lines are out for Tennessee Football. DraftKings has the Vols as a 27-point favorite over the Virginia Cavaliers, which is set to take place in Nashville. UT is a seven and a half point favorite over the Florida Gators, an eight and a half point favorite over the Texas A&M Aggies, a nine and a half point underdog to the Alabama Crimson Tide and an eight-point underdog to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Future offensive power rankings list disrespects Tennessee Football
Despite having the best offense at its level each of the past two years, Tennessee Football under Josh Heupel was ranked outside of the top five in ESPN’s list of future offensive power rankings. The Vols were somehow behind the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines.

A recent report by 247Sports ranking the 10 states with the most prospects included states that house nine of the 14 SEC schools. Even when the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners join, it will include states that house 10 of the 16 SEC schools. Tennessee Football is not on that list. Should this be a concern for the Vols in recruiting?
ACC approves merit-based revenue sharing
To save the conference, the ACC has approved merit-based revenue sharing, which will likely keep the Florida State Seminoles and Clemson Tigers in the league until the grant of rights expires in 2036.
