SEC staying at eight games: What that means for Tennessee Football
After a week of scheduling debates, the SEC is reportedly going to stay at eight conference games in 2024 when the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns join the league, starting with one permanent rival and seven rotating foes. That may be cheating the fans, but is it good or bad news for Tennessee Football?
New storming the field punishment for SEC teams
In addition to addressing the scheduling, the league addressed new punishments for storming the field to avoid recreating what Tennessee Football did in its 52-49 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide last year. Now, teams will pay the opposing school $500,000 if their fans storm the field after a game.
Fred White joins
Former Tennessee Football defensive back Fred White joins the show for his weekly appearance. White played for the Vols from 1995 to 1999 at safety, winning two SEC Championships and starting alongside Deon Grant on the national championship team in 1998. He discusses memories from that era as well as this team’s outlook.
