Jimmy Hyams

With a media career spanning fifty-one years and covering Tennessee since 1985, Jimmy Hyams joins the OTH Team as an award winning journalist and the only person to win Tennessee Sportswriter of the Year five times and Sportscaster of the Year two times. Jimmy is a member of the TSWA and the Greater Knoxville Hall of Fame. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Sertoma Center for his twenty-four years of chairing a golf tournament which has raised over $900,000. He also serves on the Knoxville Challenger committee, Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame board and selection committee, and the Knoxville Quarterback Club board.
