March is here, and that means it is time for more recruiting news. Tennessee football is hosting another junior day this weekend to kickoff the end of the recruiting dead period.

The junior day may not have as many big names as the events Tennessee hosted in January, but that is okay. A lot of prospects will trickle in to watch spring practice, which begins later this month. The Vols will also likely have a big showing for their spring game.

So, here’s a look at some of the names that may be on campus this weekend.

CB Marcus Goree Jr.

Goree is expected to make his first trip to Tennessee since committing. The three-star cornerback was one of the prospects that Josh Heupel had high on his board, and he is part of Tennessee’s emphasis to lock down the Tri-Star State.

The 6-foot and 177-pound prospect out of Bradley-Central High School could act as a recruiter for the Vols as well, pitching other prospects of the plans in Tennessee.

2025 DL Antonio Coleman

Coleman will be on campus Friday. He was one of Tennessee’s recent offerees, being extended a scholarship offer on Feb. 13.

Coleman holds Tennessee football in high regard, as he detailed with Off The Hook Sports HERE.

The 6-2, 265-pounder out of Saraland, Ala., has quickly gained attention from D1 schools, with the Vols being in the early mix for him.

RB Petyon Lewis

Lewis received a Tennessee offer recently among a slew of power-five offers. The running back detailed his thoughts on Tennessee football and his offer HERE.

Alabama is one of the most recent schools to offer Lewis, who attends Salem High School in Salem, Va. The Vols have their work cut out for them, but they have made Lewis a priority.

2025 EDGE Ari Watford

Fresh off of his sophomore season, Watford has quickly become one of the biggest names in the 2025 class. The five-star prospect is from Maury High School in Virginia Beach, Va.

The 6-5 and 220-pound edge rusher ranks as the No. 1 prospect out of Virginia, the No. 4 edge rusher and the No. 26 prospect nationally.

 2025 CB Jontae Gilbert

It isn’t uncommon for prospects who have pledged to continue to visit other schools, and that can be said for Gilbert.

Gilbert pledged to Ohio State early, committing in July. He is expected to take several visits in the spring, including Georgia and Tennessee this weekend.

The 6-1 cornerback out of Atlanta is quickly becoming a big name in the 2025 class.

2026 ATH Carson Sneed

Out of Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville, Tenn., Sneed will be in Knoxville this weekend. The 6-5 athlete who holds several power-five offers has quickly become a priority for Heupel and his staff.

Another in-state prospect, Sneed is also a priority for Tennessee football in their quest to lock down the state.
