Tennessee is getting in early with this 2025 prospect.
Blake “Bobbie” Woodby announced via social media on Friday that he recieved a scholarship offer from Tennessee.
The cornerback attends St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD. St. Frances is currently 5-0 and receiving high praise from some elite high school football coaches.
St. Frances Academy defeated Dutch Fork High School (Irmo, SC) on Sept. 23. Following their victory, six-time state champion head coach Tom Knotts described the St. Frances defense as the best he’s seen in his time as a head coach.
At 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, Woodby clocks in at 4.46 in the 40-yard dash.
Woodby is early on in his recruitment process, with Tennessee being one of the first to extend him a scholarship offer this fall. Woodby also picked up SEC offers from Georgia and Kentucky in the spring.
Woodby is a name to watch for Tennessee fans. As his recruitment goes on, Tennessee’s early interest may pay off in the long run.
