One of the major Tennessee Football tight end targets for the class of 2024 released his top schools last week.

Four-star prospect Jaden Reddell included the Vols among his top schools, as well as Georgia, Alabama, Oregon and Notre Dame. Reddell ranks as the No. 4 tight end in his class.

Reddell was last on campus in April, visiting one of Tennessee’s spring practices. He has also locked in an official visit with the Vols, set for June 23.

The No. 58 prospect nationally has also locked in official visits with Nortre Dame and Georgia. The Bulldogs have been the clear favorite for Reddell in his recruitment.

Out of Raymore-Peculiar (Mo.) High School, Reddell received an offer from Georgia in December. The Bulldogs recently landed the No. 1 player in the 2024 class in Dylan Raiola. Raiola has made peer recruiting Reddell a priority.

Steve Wiltfrong of 247Sports has put in a crystal ball projection that the 6-foot-4, 233-pound tight end will end up as a Bulldog.

In his junior season, Reddell went for 1,002 yards on 49 receptions, picking up 12 touchdowns. Reddell mainly played as a bigger wide receiver, showing he can flex out wide in college.

Reddell would be a massive pickup for Tennessee, and he is someone that Allen Trieu of 247Sports projects as a power-five starter.

“Increased production between sophomore and junior year. Has a long, taller frame with room to fill in. Used primarily as a big receiver in high school. Projects as a flex tight end in college who can still split out, stand in the slot and be moved around,” Trieu writes.

“Could end up playing attached with his hand down but has very little experience doing that at this point in his career. No verified speed times but is a long strider who runs very naturally and shows he can get vertical as well as run after the catch. Has natural ball skills and tracks and catches it over his shoulder like a wide receiver. Still a little raw in general but has big upside and should be a big time weapon in college and fits the mold of what eventually plays on Sundays.”
