In the 247Sports talent composite ranking, which takes into account transfers, dismissals and all other players based on their high school ratings, Tennessee Football came in at No. 16. Given the fact that no national title team was outside of the top 10, is this a concern for the Vols?

Although he runs the ball more than his offense is perceived to, Tennessee Football head coach Josh Heupel may still be too finesse. Heupel doesn’t allow fighting in his practices, and the Vols are having trouble finding mentally tough players that he signed on the offensive line.

The College Football Playoff recently said it won’t be changing its format for now when it expands to 12 teams until the conference realignment dust settles. That means, as of now, despite one Power Five team about to no longer exist, the top six conference champions will receive automatic bids into the event.

Week 1 gambling bets

After going 1-3 during last week’s Week 0 teaser, it’s time to go all in on gambling. We have bets for all SEC games not involving FCS teams, including Tennessee Football, and one other bet that is worth jumping on. Throughout the year, we’ll bet every SEC game, as long as it’s two FBS teams, and every game between two top 25 teams.
