A check in on 2024 Tennessee Football targets this weekend

Tennessee Football is still in the running for some highly-touted 2024 prospects. Several other schools are in the running as well.

After a big recruiting weekend with South Carolina in Knoxville, the Vols have their open date. Here’s a look at where some of Tennessee’s targets are visiting this weekend.

OT Jordan Seaton

Seaton made headlines when he canceled his Oklahoma visit to be in Neyland Stadium to watch the Vols take on South Carolina on Saturday. This weekend will be busy for the four-star prospect as well.

Seaton will take an official visit to Florida as he narrows his college choices.

Seaton will also take an official visit to South Carolina the weekend of Nov. 21.

He ranks as the No. 36 prospect nationally and the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 class. Seaton attends IMG Academy, but he is from Washington, D.C.

The four-star prospect’s visit to Tennessee Football was his first experience of Neyland at night, and it seemed to go well for all invovled.

RB Daniel Hill

It doesn’t look like the four-star running back is headed anywhere this weekend after officially visiting the Vols last weekend. Hill ranks as the No. 192 prospect nationally in the 2024 class and the No. 14 athlete. Out of Meridian (Miss.) High School, he is the No. 5 prospect from Mississippi.

The Vols are in good standing with Hill after the official visit, but there is stiff competition for the running back. His father played for in-state Mississippi State, and he also likes Alabama and South Carolina.

ATH Kamron Mikell

Unlike Hill, Mikell will be taking another official visit this weekend. He will be heading to College Station for an official visit. The Vols are set to host the Aggies next week.

Mikell officially visited Tennessee during the South Carolina game. He ranks as the No. 139 prospect nationally and the No. 8 athlete. He likely projects as a receiver in the Vols offense.

Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M make up Mikell’s top schools. He has an official visit scheduled with Kentucky for the end of the month. Georgia has several crystal balls for Mikell.

Other targets to pay attention to

Tennessee’s staff is still heavily recruiting Kam Fountain and Amaris Williams. Williams is currently committed to Florida and Fountain is committed to USC.

It doesn’t appear that either will be on the road this weekend.

They’re also in contact with LSU commitment Cai Bates. Tennessee Football finished runner-up in his recruitment. He also isn’t scheduled to be anywhere this weekend.
